Profile

Shingai Mangoma

I am a junior lecturer in the Centre of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Midlands State University. Due to the nature of my work in the department I am highly passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation that is predominantly youth/student led. I have initiated and mentored many students from disadvantaged backgrounds on how to try circumvent the harsh economic environment in my country through entrepreneurship, innovation and enterprise. It has been important for me to also lead my students by example by venturing into entrepreneurial projects that are youth inclusive. Currently I am focused on agri business, using efficient and small space friendly farming solutions such as vertical farming, hydroponics, growing small space micro greens and poultry projects.
