Sandra Aryamanya

I am a 22 year old Sandra Aryamanya from Kampala, Uganda. I was born and raised in Mbarara city but I have been leaving in Kampala since my Alevel in high school with my uncle and is wife. I reflect a varied personality including ambition, qualities of generosity and thoughtfulness. I strongly believe in fighting for your dreams and what you believe in and doing it through God because everything great takes time to build and with God, everything is possible. I love the verse Deutronomy 28:13; it keeps me going and has a built a strong foundation for my belief that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

I graduated last year from Makerere University with a degree in meteorology. I loved the experience as it fueled my already existing passion for the environment. Considering the already existing climate crisis, I believe the knowledge I got from university has opened my eyes wider to the reality of the situation better than most. I have been involved with youth led NGOs doing different kinds of climate work such as outreaches, tree growing and training programs. I do have a vision to start up my NGO soon one day.
I love my family ( my dad, mom, my two brothers and sister) they are the true meaning of love to me so they are a really huge part of my life.
The world is so beautiful with so much to see which fuels my love for adventure (I’d love to travel the world and experience different cities , people and culture.
