Mary Olaoluwa Balogun

My name is Balogun Mary Olaoluwakiitan, I am a highly motivated and purpose-driven graduate with a strong commitment to personal development, community impact, and lifelong learning. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication Science, a discipline that strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of modern communication systems. My academic journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a strong determination to grow despite challenges.
During my industrial training (SIWES) at TECHITCHEAP Dynamic Services Limited in 2023, I gained hands-on experience in data science support, customer engagement through live chat platforms, and digital content planning. I actively contributed to a content creation team by developing and managing content calendars, which further sharpened my organizational, communication, and digital media skills. This experience laid a solid foundation for my growing interest in media, advocacy, and youth development.
Beyond formal employment, I have consistently demonstrated leadership and service. I volunteered with my faculty media team, supporting content creation and social media management, and also served as the Welfare Secretary of my faculty fellowship, where I was responsible for coordination, support initiatives, and student well-being. These roles deepened my passion for mentorship, particularly among teenagers and young adults.
Currently, I work as a Real Estate Consultant and Sales Executive at Excellent Homes and Investment, where I apply strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and strategic thinking. I am also the founder of The Builder’s Project, a faith-based initiative focused on educating, mentoring, and positively shaping lives through storytelling and reflective content. As an emerging author, I use my voice to address real-life social and emotional challenges faced by youths and parents. I am seeking scholarship support to further my education and expand my capacity to create sustainable impact in my community and beyond.
