Hi, I'm Maribel Frias Lockhart, currently based in Los Angeles, California. I'm a first-time mom, and my child is about to turn one year old tomorrow. I have a background in visual communications, having studied in Chicago, Illinois, before moving to Los Angeles. Despite coming from a strict Latino background where entrepreneurship wasn't discussed, I've always been drawn to the creative arts. It wasn't until 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, that I decided to pursue my dreams of entrepreneurship, spurred on by my partner's encouragement. In 2021, after being furloughed from my corporate job, I dedicated myself fully to my entrepreneurial endeavors. I currently run two businesses at a small scale but am eager to expand and grow. Networking is an area I'm actively working on improving, and I'm seeking mentorship to help me navigate and succeed in my entrepreneurship journey.
