Application Question: Why do you want to join the Savvy Fellowship, and what is your impact idea?

Answer:
My name is Kawser Ahmed, and I am a 22-year-old from Bangladesh. I want to join the Savvy Fellowship to gain the essential entrepreneurship skills, mentorship, and global network needed to launch a sustainable social enterprise in my country.

My impact idea is "Project Progotir Alo" (Light of Progress), an integrated community model designed to address three critical challenges in Bangladesh simultaneously: youth unemployment, lack of primary healthcare, and school drop-outs.

Through this initiative, we will select and train unemployed rural youth in digital literacy, basic health screening, and primary tutoring methods. Once trained, these youths will be gainfully employed to run after-school digital learning centers for underprivileged children and operate low-cost digital health booths (offering basic check-ups and telemedicine access) for rural villagers. By turning unemployed youth into health and education ambassadors, this project will create jobs, improve rural health, and provide quality education to children, effectively breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
