I am a 40- year-old female entrepreneur with Bachelor’s degree(BTech) in Computer Science and Postgraduate Diploma(PGD) in Education. I have deep passion for female empowerment through Agro businesses particularly for females in low resource settings. This pushed me to establish a poultry farm with complete spectrum of the value chain from parent stock (Noilers, Guinea fowl, Quail, Pigeon) up to hatching. I had conceptualized a business that is compatible with the traditional/cultural, social and geographical consideration in Northern Nigeria by getting a poultry incubator which is powered is powered using Solar energy and LP gas and a farm located at the backyard.
