My name is Ansela. I'm 19 years old, and a student at the University of Benin. I have a plan to target hunger in my country. I am a Nigerian, and currently, the high rate of inflation and hunger in my country is alarming. Amongst other problems, hunger seems to be the most prevailing and the most widespread. With my business idea, 'Mama Ejima', I aim to build farms and a food processing company, where more food will be grown and transported round the nation, and even to other countries in Africa. My plan is to promote Nigeria's economy through agriculture and social welfare, by providing food and employment opportunities for the people. I have my laid out plans and aspirations, goals and milestones etc.
I have never experienced hunger, as this was a promise my mum made to herself, but having entered the university where I see people from different walks of life, and different conditions from a more practical view, I have come to realize that people really go through a lot of things, regardless of what is prevalent on social media. I want so much for myself, in terms of relationships and wealth. But I have realized that I cannot achieve or build anything for people if I do not love and understand these people. My current goal is knowing, loving, and understanding my fellow people in every way possible
My hope to build for people is what keeps me up at night and during the day. It pushes me to not settle for less, but create a better life for not myself alone, but for as many people as I come across.
