Hi! My name is Talei, I'm currently a Frank Knox Fellow studying at Harvard University, pursuing my Ed.M in Education Policy and Analysis. Before making the big move to the US, I was the Project Officer for Purposeful, a Perth-based EdTech start up that has helped over 20,000 secondary and tertiary students to pursue their own meaningful career paths. I graduated from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours in Indigenous Education Policy, and from UWA with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science & International Relations and Asian Studies.
Outside of work and study, I also love to pursue my passion of youth advocacy through my work in Aboriginal Education, production of my first documentary Realising Dreams which raised over $9000 for local charities, and recent publication of my first book Realising Dreams. I have also spoken to thousands of secondary and tertiary students as a sought-out Keynote Speaker, Panellist and Guest Speaker.
