I am Sobowale Olumuyiwa, newly graduated passionate student who is committed to pursing excellence in the computer engineering field from the Federal University of Technology Akure, I am deeply committed to pursue career as a social entrepreneur.
In my academic journey, I consistently maintained 2nd class honours (CGPA 3.8) while simultaneously serving in various leadership capacities which includes Welfare Director of the National association of Computer Engineering Students in my third year, Project Director for Rotaract club of FUTA in my second year. This reflects my commitment and interest in humanity and active participation in extracurricular activities.
An achievements from others that stand significant to me was introducing Teens-Launch Africa, an initiative that bridges the gap between teenagers and digital literacy with the aim to minimize technology illiteracy in Africa starting from Nigeria and at the moment across 3 states in Western part of the my country (Nigeria) and have impacted directly 1123 teenagers/youths. This role did not only hone my leadership and communication skills but it has been fuelling my aspirations to see an African next generation technology inclined leaders because I have come to discover that every African kid should be given that opportunity to develop skills that this needed to success in this digital world.
Forging ahead, I aspire to have impacted at least 5000 teenagers/youth with Teens-Launch Africa in 2024.
