I am Hasina Henintsoa ANDRIATSITOHAINA, an agronomist specializing in Agricultural and Food Industries. My professional journey reflects my commitment to sustainable and inclusive development. I am passionate about aromatic and medicinal plants that represent the wealth of Madagascar.
However, it was with the foundation of my company, MAD'AROM, that I truly made my mark. By creating a company dedicated to the production of essential oils from aromatic plants in Madagascar, I combined my passion for biodiversity with my commitment to sustainable economic development. Thanks to my visionary leadership, MAD'AROM has become a major player in promoting sustainable agricultural practices and empowering local communities.
In my company, I lead a team in implementing a sustainable development program. We train our producers in adopting agroforestry systems to preserve soil, biodiversity, and generate diversified sources of income through the cultivation of various species. Working with disadvantaged people, I have been deeply touched by the importance of empathy, compassion, and inclusion. These values have become the foundation on which I build my approach to leadership, always prioritizing collective well-being and equity.
In parallel, I also work as a consultant researcher within an international humanitarian NGO working on cocoa value chains, in partnership with various private actors and vulnerable producers. My overall goal is to inspire others to follow the path of sustainable development and contribute to a promising future for all.
