My name is Desarta, and I am from Albania. I hold a degree in Economics and Finance, and I am currently completing my second master's degree in Politics and Governance in Europe. I have recently joined the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development as an advisor, where I focus on advancing rural economic policies.
With a decade of experience spanning both the private and public sectors, I have developed a strong foundation in business development and innovation. My professional career began in 2014 in the banking sector, where I spent five years delivering tailored financial solutions to SMEs and corporate clients, performing in-depth financial analyses, and managing loan portfolios. In 2019, I transitioned to the public sector, working with the Albanian Investment Development Agency. Over the next five years, I took on roles such as Marketing and Research Analysis expert, Head of Projects and Innovation, and Director of SME and Projects. In these positions, I led key initiatives to foster growth and digital transformation within Albanian companies, organized international business events, and established strategic partnerships to drive market expansion.
