Annas Ali

My name is Annas Ali, and I hail from the beautiful town of District Ghotki in Interior Sindh. I pursued my bachelor's degree in Government and Public Policy from the esteemed National Defence University in Islamabad. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in the Public and Development Sector, having worked closely with the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives.

Professionally, I have also made significant contributions to the field of research. I have had the privilege of working with the Centre for Strategic and Contemporary Research, where I have authored and published over 10 articles on various unique topics. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to intern at the Fareeda Bashir Trust in Islamabad.

Passionate about climate justice, I actively participated as a Climate Justice Activist with the Peace and Justice Network on a project supported by the British Council. Additionally, I have been involved in volunteer work since 2016, serving as the President of the Daharki Mines Foundation, a youth-led organization dedicated to Women Empowerment, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Hygiene in Interior Sindh.

Currently, I am working as a Community Mobilizer Officer at the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) on a project funded by USAID. This project, known as the Building Healthy Families Activity (BHFA), aims to improve the well-being of families in the region. I am excited to apply for the Savvy program of Social Entrepreneurship, as I believe it will provide me with the necessary tools and knowledge to create a lasting impact in my community.
