Dear Entrepreneur,

Ask someone more experienced than you are.

We don’t solve problems in a vacuum. It’s like sitting in a dark room, alone, thinking about what the answer could be. We solve problems by interacting with others—brainstorming; throwing ideas at the wall, and seeing what sticks. When you run into a challenge, endeavor to use your network as a resource. Everybody has faced their own unique set of challenges in their time, and it’s beneficial to learn from the mistakes of other people—rather than learning from just your own mistake.

In a nutshell, don’t try to do everything on your own—it’s not efficient, and it’s rarely necessary.

With love,
Chidi
