When you are experiencing hard times, there is literally no use dwelling on the things you cannot change. That only increases anxiety. Rather, focus on what you can do, and get started. Start by identifying which parts of your problem you can control, then find the action you can take immediately to solve it.
It could be calling someone close to you, or someone you respect a lot, for advice. No matter how small the action may be, it will make you feel productive rather than helpless, and keep your anxiety in check. Actively do something to solve your problem, even if you’re not sure it will eventually pay off.
Just take action!
