It’s easier to succeed doing what you love.
Entrepreneurs start businesses for a number of reasons, but the most important reason should be because you love what you do. But how do you know that you love what you do?
Ask yourself, “If I didn’t get paid for doing this, will I still be doing it?” When you love what you do, you’re more likely to keep doing it even when the money hasn’t started rolling in.
For most entrepreneurs, we venture into unique business ideas with so many uncertainties, with a 50-50 chance of failure and success, and you’d only have to love what you do, to be crazy enough to do this.
When people ask me, how old are you? I say, “I’m many startups old.” I have created so many failed startups and a few successful ones. But because I love what I do, I do it even when the odds are against me.
Never play it safe.
