Dear Entrepreneur,
As human beings, we often grow when we are pushed. As entrepreneurs, we often improve in times of recession. And most often, we grow when we are criticized, especially when it makes us feel inadequate. So, having critics isn’t a bad thing, and you have to understand that if you’re doing anything great, you will certainly attract critics. They will attack you both personally and professionally.
Often, a healthy dose of criticism is an indication that you are succeeding, or have even succeeded. However, we can’t deny the fact that criticism hurts really badly. But the truth is that when something hurts you, you are most likely to learn from it and grow. As an entrepreneur, I have had my own fair share of criticism, and I can confidently tell you that most of the great things I have accomplished through my journey have been a result of really painful criticism.
With love,
Chidi
