Dear Entrepreneur,

Please, do everything you do with total commitment. This doesn’t mean total perfection. It’s very important that you know the difference between both. The best way to start is by making a plan. Write your plans down, memorize it, even stick it on your mirror or your bed headboard, so that you see it every day.

Think through your plan logically, and take into consideration your weaknesses and your strengths. I know it’s good practice to start with the easiest things first because they make you feel good about yourself, but sometimes, it’s worthwhile to try the harder things first because it helps you feel relieved when they are done.

Make a checklist. You can use an app to do this. For me, I use the ‘Notes’ app on my MacBook to make my checklist, because then I can easily find it on my iPhone and iPad, so I can easily access it whenever and wherever. So, to make your checklist, you can use an app that is available on your phone, laptop, and tablet, and automatically syncs when you update it on any of your devices. And you can tell a friend about it so that they can keep you accountable too.

If nobody has told you, let me be the first to tell you:

You’re smart.

You’re deserving.

And you’re ready.

With love,
Chidi
