Dear Entrepreneur,
The more all your team members actively participate in discussions and attempt to make improvements to the company, the better. This leads to exponential growth. Never shut down a member of your team for voicing an opinion respectfully and publicly, even if it goes against your own vision, or even when it’s not well thought out. Shutting someone down for voicing their opinion leads to resentment, and this discourages people from sharing any new thoughts they have.
Be transparent. It shows your integrity as the team leader, and it helps you build trust with your team members. If you lie about something, or you withhold important information, you could likely jeopardize your relationships with your team members, and lose the respect you command as a team leader.
