Lead by example. As the manager and leader, you should set an example to your team members in terms of your behavior. If you show up late to work, your team members will be less punctual, as well. If you lose your temper easily, your team members will be amiss in keeping their emotions in check. So strive to be your own ideal of the perfect team member, especially in front of the team.
Never use the ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, because your team members are different individuals with unique preferences, ideas, strengths, and weaknesses. So never use the exact same approach to motivate, encourage or mold all of them. Focus on individuals, and customize your approach to fit each one of them.
