Dear Entrepreneur,
The true opposite of success is not failure.
It is inaction. Failure is not the opposite of success, because you have to at least make an attempt before you can fail. I’ve come to understand that inaction is the true opposite of success. My greatest achievements have been from taking bold but uncertain steps to reach for what I wanted. It was from actions.
When you fail to act, you fail to provide yourself with an opportunity to learn, or even a chance to succeed.
Don’t let the fear of failure paralyze you from taking action. If you don’t act, you won’t learn, and you can never succeed. That’s a guarantee. But if you act, you can fail, but you will learn, and you stand a chance to succeed in the long run. We’re all afraid to fail. It’s okay because it’s human nature. Failure can be embarrassing and demoralizing, but if possible, don’t look at failure as an “actual” failure.
Instead, see it as a step through a longer journey that may eventually lead to success.
